A Llanwenog Shearling won the Best Female class and went on to be judged Rare and Native Breed Champion. 3rd prize in the ewe class also went to the Lesser Moorguards flock. The judge was Jane Wilson (Winkwell Flock).

The Group of Three owned by Mrs Maggie Wilson made it in to the final six in the Group Interbreed Championship.
Royal Welsh Smallholder & Garden Festival 2011
For the first time, the Llanwenog Breed had their own section in this event and it was duly supported by the breeders. 25 entries were forward in all, with four Senior rams, 7 Yearling rams, 4 aged ewes and 9 yearling ewes. The honour of being the first Llanwenog judge at this event fell to Mr Elfyn Morgans, Glwydwern, Gorsgoch. In the Senior Ram class, the honours went to Mrs May Clegg (Ffarm Fach), with Huw & Lynwen Jenkins in second place. Gareth Evans (Parcyrhos) took pole position in the Yearling Ram, with Maggie Wilson (Pessall) in second position. It was Gareth Evans’s turn to take the Red rosette in the Aged Ewes, with May Clegg in close second. The judge took some time to make his decision in the final class, before plumping for the Ffarm Fach ewe in the end, with Gareth Evans this time taking second place.
